This gear shift knob is a chrome ball. This chrome shift knob will fit Eaton Fuller assemblies that have the splitter. In other words, it will fit 13, 15, 18, and super 10 speed assemblies. It cannot be used to replace the knob on old "D" shaped shift assemblies that were used in the 80's and some early 90's. If you wish to use this knob on those shifters you would need to pick up a new shift assembly from your local truck dealership. They generally run around $50.00. Once you have a new one of those, this part number will fit. This part number is for the knob and mounting assembly. Be sure to order the splitter cover and the sleeve for underneath
